Abstract
Abstrakt: Ewolucja pozycji międzynarodowej USA w okresie pozimnowojennym
Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie ewolucji pozycji międzynarodowej Stanów Zjednoczonych w okresie pozimnowojennym. Celem jest również dokonanie analizy poszczególnych etapów w budowaniu pozycji supermocarstwa w ostatniej dekadzie XX i w dwóch pierwszych dekadach XXI wieku. W artykule zostaną ukazane główne instrumenty wykorzystywane przez USA na rzecz umacniania pozycji supermocarstwa, jej percepcja zarówno przez amerykańskich decydentów politycznych (Demokratów i Republikanów), jak i przez pozostałych aktorów areny międzynarodowej (analiza stopnia i woli akceptacji supremacji USA na arenie międzynarodowej).

Abstract: The evolution of the USA international position in the post-cold war period
The main aim of this article is to analyze the evolution of the international position of the United States in the post‑ cold war period. Another objective is also to analyze the stages in the process of building the position of the superpower in the last decade of the 20th and in the 21th century. The article will show the main instruments used by the US to strengthen the position of the superpower, its perception by American political decision makers (Democrats and Republicans) and by other actors of the international environment (analysis of the degree and willingness to accept US supremacy on the international scene).
