Abstract
Social media include blogs, that is, web diaries that exist only on the Internet and that are subject to its requirements. They are a new forum for the exchange of information as well as relationships between people. Blogs are frequently authored by parents of children with disabilities that share this way their experiences relating to complicated and difficult parenthood, often looking for help, some kind of support but also sharing their children’s problems, needs, abilities, and successes.
