The article concerns procedural issues regarding appeals against decisions of the Committee on the Professional Responsibility of Sworn Translators at the Ministry of Justice. It analyses the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeals and the type of procedure under which proceedings at second instance on the professional liability of sworn translators before a common court should take place. The article addresses the provisions contained in the fourth chapter of the Act of 25 November 2004 on the profession of sworn translator, then decisions of the Courts of Appeal and arguments established for their justification, which were taken in the analyzed category of matters, as well as views of doctrine in the discussed area. Solutions are also proposed in order to unify the manner of resolving cases concerning the professional liability of sworn translators by common courts.
