Ethics Policy

The editors strive to ensure that the publishing procedures comply with the recommendations of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal's editors make the final decision regarding the selection of submitted articles, their acceptance for publication or their rejection. The editors are obliged to observe confidentiality rules regarding the submitted texts, their authors and potential reviewers. In justified cases, the editors may apply to the Editorial Council, which has an advisory function, for consultation. “Rocznik Historii Sztuki” publishes original articles, prepared independently by the author(s) on his own, not previously published elsewhere. If the submitted article has been previously proposed to another journal and has not been accepted, the editors ask the author(s) to inform them of this fact. If an author wishes to use a publication originally published in the “Rocznik Historii Sztuki” elsewhere, he/she is kindly requested to contact the editorial board in this regard. Authors are required to comply with current legal rules regarding copyright. All costs, if any, related to payments for licensing and copyright of materials used in the texts by the authors are borne by the authors themselves. Articles from 2023 onward are published only in electronic format.
