Publication Ethics

The editorial board of Studia Socjologiczne places great importance on maintaining high standards of academic integrity and good research practices. All forms of legal or ethical misconduct in scholarly work — including plagiarism and self-plagiarism — will be documented and made public. All manuscripts submitted to Studia undergo a double-blind peer review process.

Authors are required to sign a declaration stating that the submitted work is their sole and original contribution, has not been previously published (in Polish or any other language), has not been submitted elsewhere for publication, and has not been made available in any other form (including online). The declaration must also identify all individuals whose contributions to the manuscript were significant and list them as co-authors.

The editorial board has also developed guidelines for authors regarding the use of artificial intelligence tools in manuscript preparation.
