Annales Mathematicae Silesianae publishes significant research and survey papers from all branches of pure and applied mathematics and reports of meetings. It welcomes contributed papers that develop important, new mathematical ideas and results or solve outstanding problems. Submissions are strictly refereed, and only articles of the highest quality are accepted for publication.

The journal does not have article processing charges or article submission charges.

Annales Mathematicae Silesianae is published by the University of Silesia Press (Poland). The first number of the journal appeared in 1985. Formerly (since 1969) it was published under the title Prace Naukowe Uniwersytetu Śląskiego w Katowicach. Prace Matematyczne.

The Editorial Board participates in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscript screening to eliminate plagiarism and provide a high standard and quality peer-review process.

Almost everywhere convergence of varying parameter setting Cesàro means of Fourier series with respect to Walsh-Kaczmarz-system
Published: 2025-01-20
In this paper, the almost everywhere convergence of Cesàro means of Walsh–Kaczmarz–Fourier series in a varying parameter setting is investigated. In particular, we define subsequence ℕ α _n, q...
Functional equations with an anti-endomorphism for functions with multidimensional codomains
Published: 2024-12-25
Let S be a semigroup, ℍ be the skew field of quaternions, and ψ: S → S be an anti-endomorphism. We determine the general solution of the functional equation g ( xy ) - g ( x ψ( y )) = 2 g (...
New results about quadratic functional equation on semigroups
Published: 2024-11-19
Let S be a semigroup, let ( H , +) be a uniquely 2-divisible, abelian group and let ϕ , ψ be two endomorphisms of S that need not be involutive. In this paper, we express the solutions f...
On the Dirichlet problem for a class of nonlinear degenerate elliptic equations in weighted Sobolev spaces
Published: 2024-11-19
In this paper we are interested in the existence of solutions for the Dirichlet problem associated with the degenerate nonlinear elliptic equations -div[????( x , u ,∇ u ) ω 1 + ????( x , u ,∇ u...
On weak solutions to parabolic problem involving the fractional p-Laplacian via Young measures
Published: 2024-11-15
In this paper, we study the local existence of weak solutions for parabolic problem involving the fractional p-Laplacian. Our technique is based on the Galerkin method combined with the theory of...
On the alienation of multiplicative and additive functions
Published: 2024-11-15
Given S a semigroup. We study two Pexider-type functional equations f ( xy ) + g ( xy ) = f ( x ) + f ( y ) + g ( x ) g ( y ),   x , y ∈ S , and ∫ S f ( xyt )d μ ( t ) + ∫ S...
