Instructions for the Authors
General information
Materials submitted to the "Intellectual Property Law Review" should be original works that have not been previously made available to the public. Materials can be written in Polish or English. Submitted texts are subject to preliminary evaluation by the Editorial Board and are subject to the anti-plagiarism procedure. In the case of initial acceptance of the material by the Editorial Board, the material is sent for anonymous review by two independent reviewers in the so-called double-blind review system. After receiving the review, the Editorial Board may decide to reject the text, require revisions or accept the material for publication. The final decision to accept the material for publication in each case rests to the Editorial Board and depends in particular on:
-
the innovativeness of the subject matter undertaken by the author,
-
the topicality of the issues raised,
-
the scientific level of the study,
-
the importance of the study for the science and practice of law,
-
the level of originality of the study.
Authors are obliged to comply with generally applicable laws and ethical principles of science. In particular, the Editorial Board does not accept materials that are manifestations of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, ghostwriting and guest authorship (see: PUBLISHING ETHICS). Any violation of applicable laws or ethical standards shall be notified by the Editorial Board to the relevant institutions or state authorities.
