PEER REVIEW PROCESS

The rules concerning the reviewing process of papers published in “Średniowiecze Polskie i Powszechne” are as follows: the submitted materials are first assessed and pre-selected by the Editorial Board. Articles that fulfil the requirements are accepted for the next stages of revision. The Editors-in-Chief suggest Reviewers, whose scientific interests correspond with the topic of the article. The Reviewers conduct the blind review process, using the assessment form provided by the journal. Each paper is assessed by two Reviewers. The text is published only when both Reviewers state in their reviews that they accept it for publication. The Author receives the reviews and is obliged to reply to all the remarks of the Reviewers in a written form, to correct the text and introduce modifications suggested by the Reviewers. If the Author does not accept any of the suggestions, his or her decision needs to be accepted by the Editors.
