Czytanie jako rozmowa

Abstrakt

The author criticizes the latest book by Michał Paweł Markowski Życie na miarę literatury. He evaluated it as a book positively differing from early works by an outstanding philologist which resembled a lecture artificialized because of the fact that they were „promotion works”. The latest book enchants with sincerity in presenting his own involvement in reading adventures. Apart from discussing the history of the European modernism and a series of profiles of modern authors, the title text-confession-manifesto appears in which the philologist states that reading has an existential dimension for him as it interrupts the circle of loneliness surrounding the reader. The author notices that reading equals conversation for Markowski, which gets a former deconstructionist to hermeneutics as well as philosophy of dialogue closer.
