The year 2022 marked the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the apostolic administration for the part of Upper Silesia that was included in the territory of the reborn Poland. Several articles in this volume are devoted to this event (...). I very much hope that the texts in this issue of the biannual will help the readers better understand the history of the Church in Upper Silesia.
